We provide full-day early learning and childcare in a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is supported to grow, explore, and thrive. We have a total capacity of 56 children and are divided into four age-specific rooms to ensure children receive care and learning experiences appropriate for their developmental stage:

Mandy Grewal brings 20 years of leadership experience in early childhood education in Alberta, guiding teams of educators with passion and dedication. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has earned her Level 3 certification, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence. From a young age, she has been inspired to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can thrive. She finds great joy in watching children reach milestones, build confidence, and express their individuality. She has supported staff and families in reaching their full potential, making this one of the most fulfilling parts of her journey. Her approach is grounded in empathy, connection, and a genuine love for working with children.

Through Alberta’s Affordable Child Care program, qualifying families pay as little as $15/day. We’ll walk you through what your family qualifies for during your tour, and we can also help you complete your subsidy application.
No waitlist, we’re a brand-new centre open now. Families who book a tour now can reserve their child’s spot for opening day or any start date after, on a first-come basis. Because we’re starting fresh, every age group has openings.
Children can begin as soon as a space is available and registration is complete. Contact us to discuss current availability and your preferred start date.
We provide full-day care for children ages 12 months to 6 years. Our program serves infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We do not offer before- or after-school care for children attending elementary school.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed on statutory holidays.

Our day blends structured play-based learning with free exploration, outdoor time, meals, rest, and creative activities. Each age group has its own daily rhythm designed around developmental needs. We’ll walk you through a full daily schedule during your tour.
Yes — Community Options is fully licensed by the Government of Alberta and operates under all provincial child care regulations. Our organization has been serving Edmonton families for over 40 years.
Play-based learning means children build essential skills, language, problem-solving, social-emotional development, early literacy and numeracy through guided play rather than worksheets or drills. Research consistently shows this approach produces stronger outcomes for children under 6 than academic-style instruction.
After you submit your information, we’ll call within 4 business hours to schedule your tour. Tours include a walk-through of our new facility, time to meet our director, Mandy Grewal, a look at the rooms your child would be in, and a chance to ask questions. You’re welcome to bring your child along.
Once you decide to enrol, we’ll guide you through registration. You’ll need a completed enrolment package and (for a limited time) no deposit. We also help you with the Alberta subsidy application at the same time.
